Our Osteopathic Difference?
Marks particular skill set resides in identifying the specific pain triggers a patient has, these are sometimes missed as practitioners rush through assessments to
get to treatment, my motto is "health is wealth-movement is medicine" and a well done thorough assessment saves time in future treatment".
Massage Therapy- What is involved?
The therapist will ask new patients about symptoms, medical history and desired results. The intent is to assess and create a treatment plan for you and that can only be done if the
therapist has a complete understanding of your past and current health. Typically, the patient lies on a table, either in loose fitting clothing or undressed (covered with a sheet, except
for the area being massaged). The therapist my use oil or lotion to reduce friction on the skin.
What if I can not get onto the table for a massage?
We have many pillows and work together to make it work how ever we need. We can modify most aspects so that you are comfortable and easeful in your positioning. The patient can be
leaning against the table with pillows sitting in a chair, or remain seated in a walker.
